Happy 'Niu' Year!!

It finally feels like a new year already. Things are not getting better for me though, at least not yet. It still seems dull and boring. Stayed home for the past 2 days. No angbaos yet, only from my parents. Yup, quite unbelievable right? But seriously no choice, my family is kinda complicated =\
Slept till 4pm just now and don't even realise it. Normally I will feel hungry and will wake up, but today I don't feel any hunger at all.
Worked for night shift on the eve of CNY till Monday. Was doing counter and had no business. I guess no one wishes to come police station during CNY bah. haha.
And my phone offically spoilt. Cannot work properly. Keep giving me the blank screen whenever I press some keys. Now using some old phone that doesn't have a camera =\ I think I need to send for repairs soon. Hope they don't charge me much.
Anyway, there was this article on The New Paper. Can read if you are interested. 2 officers drew their batons and one drew the Tazer. Don't get such actions in my area though. haha!

Long time since I blogged. Have been busy even on my off days. Not because I went out, it's because I have extra duties. Tiring. But it's okay, took leave tomorrow =]
Times are bad, people are troubled over money. My parents are, so am I. Quite tight on cash recently as I paid for my upcoming trip to Taiwan. This economic crisis also increased the crime rates. There was this night where calls keep coming in non-stop. Got to deal with frustrated people because of these problems. tsk tsk tsk.
Great things will be coming up but I don't really feel so great. Things seems to be dull and seems like I am not participating in everything. And my phone just failed, spoilt. I can receive calls but calling/smsing will be a chore for me. The phone will hang/blankout when i press certain buttons. Arghh! So, don't expect quick replies from me anymore.
Okay, i'm tired. continue tml

Damn, I have to agree. I look like drug addict. =\ My colleague also said that he would arrest me for 'believed to have consumed controlled drugs' if he doesn't know me. lol..
Arghh! How to get rid of it?! Tanning can do some cover up but there is no bright hot sun on my off days! It was either a very good windy day or a sky covered with clouds!
The sun doesn't like to see me when I ask for it. And kept shining at me when I hide from it. Is this the what lenz law effect?
I feel a little sick, sick of working. Maybe because I didn't had a good sleep yesterday night. I had only 3 hours of sleep compared to the day before, which I had almost 24 hours of sleep. Or maybe things just didn't went my way. My meal times were a little fugged up and I am sick of eating the same food. My confident skills did not put to work today and I stumbled on everything I do. I know I am correct, but I am not confident. Or should I say, I do not know how they want it to be.
Sometimes I really feel disappointed. Sometimes I really hope to just sign on and do the job as a regular police officer. Helping people to solve cases and fight crime. I hate to see people crying and begging for help. Am I too kind or what? I know that even if I am Superman, I will not be able to help everyone. Furthermore, I can't even help myself.
Another pessimistic post. Dam, I hate it. But there is nothing optimistic in my life right now.

It's already 1 week into year 2009. Nothing new and interesting yet.
Seems like everyone is not having any expectation for this year. They hope that 2009 will pass asap so that they can welcome a new year. It seems so dull. The new year's countdown was also very quiet. The atmosphere was not there. Not many people celebrated it. This year is just here to cover the holes that year 2008 created. haiz..
And I think I shouldn't put "to be more man" as my new year resolution. It should be "a change for the better". Just hope that everything will be good. And hope that I can achieve something great this year. It will be another stage of my life as my NS ends this November, and I hope I can fully enjoy my youth. Wish to try out as many activities as possible. Of course the morally right ones.
It will also be my full one year of service in SPF tomorrow. And I'm left with 10 months in the force. After that, I will be on my own in the outside world. Got to find jobs and plan for my life seriously. Work for another 10months and I will be back to studies for 4 years. It is freaking long. And after I graduated, it will be another stage in the life cycle. arghh..!
Okay, I have no idea what to blog. It sounds like total crap. Will be doing TTSH duties again tml, and more to come. Dam sian. Seriously like no life. Arghh..!

Happy Year 2009!!
Shall finish up my 2008 stories first. =]
Just came back from some gay session, oops I mean brudder's outing with KY. Decided not to drag bio along and get him bored since he was already with his friends. In the end, only left this 13 yrs friend. Still the best eh? Although we still couldn't agree with each other on most issues. lol, but we managed to communicate bah.
At the very last moments of 2008, I had decided not to stay home and to go out to enjoy the festive atmosphere. Also to catch some fresh air and wash my eyes =\ Thus, we chose to go Marina Square area and see what we can do there. Reached there and it was quite crowded, however we were unable to enter the floating platform. So we went to some dark place under the bridge to watch fireworks only.
Actually my motive of going to those places is to party, relax myself and throw out all my frustration. Not wanting to just stand there and stare at the fireworks. I would do that if I'm with a girl but not a guy -.-" How to throw out my frustration by watching the fireworks?
However, ky just wanted to watch the fireworks and he was satisfied. =\ We just couldn't agree with each other all the way and thus we walked here to there, arguing with each other on the way -.-
Then managed to settle down at a hong kong restaurant with the help of his friend whom we came upon to. Lastly, we waited for a taxi for more than 1 hour just to get home. Zzz. What a way to end year 2008 and welcome year 2009 eh? hahaha!
Anyway, Year 2009 is here!!
Festive mood will still continue till the end of CNY before things get seriously started. Hope this new calendar year would do some help to the economy and thus boost everything. Last Christmas and New Year parties was already considered quite dull due to the current economical situation.
I'm looking forward for more positive changes to our lives and our surrounding. Well, there are many things to expect for year 2009 and we shall wait and see. Afterall, it is how we live our lives. If you want to be happy, you will do whatever you can to be happy. If you want to be healthy, do whatever you need to. If you want a change, make sure you have a open mindset. Things doesn't happen out of nothing, it observes newton's first law. Only if you create an opportunity for it, then it will change accordingly.
And thus, my new year resolution will be..........
To grow to be more man. Be it being more healthy, more muscular, more mature, more serious, more stylish or more stupid. Whatever it takes. I will do my best =)
I also hope to achieve something great this year. Something great that I can share with my family, friends, or anyone. Something great that I can be proud of. Something that will stay in everyone's mind forever. =]
