It was a bright sunny day with a clear blue sky, so i decided to go swimming. Packed my stuffs and went tampines safra. As I reach there, it was still sunny. However, after 5mins, I feel cool wind blowing, took at look at the sky and saw a huge layer of dark clouds covering the sun slowly. Damn. Swam awhile and went to shower. Came out of the shower and prepared to go home, then I felt the sun. Looked up and saw the huge layer of cloud moving away to the direction where it came from. Damn, was I cursed or something? This is the 4th time it happened. Seems like they hate me go swimming.

Assisted to catch a python. It was a 'young' one and about 2-3m long. Luckily it was in a private residential area, attracted not much attention. After that, spent a whole night on another case. Long story. Not allowed to say it here.
Anyway, just browsed through the car rental sites as usual. And I realise that this company got this promotion. A Mitsubishi lancer Manual for $55/day. It is very tempting! Feel like renting but I'm currently damn poor. And somemore I don't really have much time to drive also. arghh!
In short, Youth Olympic Village will be in NTU instead of NUS's U-town. This means that the athletes and officials will be staying in NTU halls. And NO, NTU is not building new halls.
9 out of 14 halls in NTU will be used to house the 5000+ people. This also means that students will have to move out to make space for them. Then what about us?! Halls will be occupied by them, means the halls will get disorganised and no more hall games/orientation?! No ahh!!
Furthermore, they say they will postpone the 2010/11 intake by 2 weeks. Means I will start school later. Sure affected de. Haiz.. I thought it would be some good news. But....

Anyway, I'm selling my Black X-mini speaker. It's a good speaker. I have not even use it yet. Only opened to check whether it is working or not. Selling it for $25. Outside selling it $35. Reason for selling: I have the red one already. The other time itchy hand bought another one.
I'm bored again. Think I'm going to nua at home tomorrow. They cancelled my deployment for istana open house. Heard they outsource it to other divisions. Haiz.. Wanted to go de lor. I told them and they say that I'm crazy. But I seriously want to do something... Came home only at 11am today and knocked out all the way till 7pm. Seriously tired. And I said things that I shouldn't say. Damn! Must always remind myself to watch my words ahh! Maybe I was tired thus not thinking =\
Just now an old friend talked to me, and I found out about something serious happened. I can understand how he feel. No wait, I cannot understand how he feel. I am not in his position and how could I say I understand? Alright damn, I know that he feels sucky. Confirm. But at least, things are getting better... Please people, treasure what you have. Have a thought for yourself and the others before you decide on something. (okay, this is not related, just a thought I wanted to share)
Actually wanted to go supper with ky and bio just now, but ky came back late and bio said he was tired. So in the end, I went down to buy mcdonalds for myself. Damn expensive sia. $7.70 for McSpicy Meal Upsize with Greentea. They gave me a pack of wasabi shake too. But I don't dare to try. lol. They also came out with new chilli sauce packs. No more garlic chilli.
Anyway, bio just ps us for an overseas trip next year. He will be going with his friends instead. Disappointed but nvm bah, he cannot split himself also. So I guess I will not be travelling next year already bah. Save some cash also. Wait till my NS finish then see how, see can jio any other people or not. Most likely no chance till long long later bah.
So many new car owners these days. Many supercars also. And also at my house area. Spotted this red porsche few days ago. It's quite nice, but well, I prefer other supercars to porsche =X
I've been quite busy recently, had to go back on my off day to help out. Then the next off day, which is monday, I also have duty. So these made me quite tired.
I of course don't mind going back on off days to do meaningful job/duties, it would be a good experience for me also. Just that I don't really like the paper work, a lot ah! No choice, normally NSF have to do the paper work to cut the heavy workloads of the regulars. Zzz
Anyway, had some interesting experience as a police officer but not to the extreme kind la. Don't have those fight with ppl, pin down ppl, run few km, no ah. hahaha. Not to that extent bah. Don't know why but I was quite forgetful most of the time. Wasn't very sharp also. Maybe it's cuz of the long working hours? hmm~
And yesterday was my morning shift, today supposed to sleep till late afternoon to prepare for my night shift. However, got waken up by my parents this morning and I could not sleep anymore. Die lah, how to tahan whole night today?
The economy has been bad and I'm sure a lot people got affected. My parents were also affected. Times are bad, need to cut down even more on my spending. This is the only way I could help bah. Quite badly affected I heard. Imagine the savings all put inside the investments hoping to grow some cash, in the end.. Zzz
Finally got some rest these few days. Slept more 16 hours before I go report for my night shift. Then back from night shift slept again. Went out and come back sleep for another 11hours. It's been a long time since I slept till so shiok.
Anyway, I bought an ant bait today. It comes in a packet of 3. So as usual, i threw it on the floor in my room without opening it. And just only i realise a trail of ants crawling to it. Infesting it. I opened up the box and found lots of ants inside. Now i realise how powerful Mortein is. Recommended to deal with ants. hahaha!
Now they happy, eat eat, soon they will die! wahahaha! Wasted my 3 baits. Haven't even separate them.

And recently, I read this article in the newspaper. It reports that the no. of cars on the road is increasing and COE policy failed. I shall summarise in point form.
- Few years ago, they changed the policy for cars to be scrap. - So there are lesser cars scraped since they don't get back their money, and they need to pay back full to the bank. - ERPs set up to 'help' ppl own cars, so they issue more COEs. - COE prices dropped all the way down. - Everyone chiong to get the cars - They then realised that there are too many cars on the road - So they decreased the no. of COE, prices up - They estimated the no. of COEs with the no. of cars expected to be scraped - But because they did not consider the change in COE, there were fewer than expected cars scrapped - No. of cars continue to increase as times were good. - More cars on the road, more ERPs built. - With these ERPs that helped ppl to own cars, it further increase the ownership of cars. - So they cut down the no. of COEs and increased the price of vehicles. Then they also add more ERPs to clear the roads. - So, COE higher to discourage ownership, but also increased ERPs to help increase ownership. - In the end, people pay more and more, plus no. of cars increases as people pay more. Irony? hmmm
Well, I don't know what the government wants to do. They are building more and more ERPs, charging higher and higher rates. Carparks are full and they earn from both COE and ERPs plus other taxes. In the end, they got more pay, and we pay more. freaking hell...
Dam sian, I just realised that I forgot my password for a password-protected file. It was compressed into a .rar file and locked. I cannot remember what files are inside but I know it was quite important. Now that it's locked and I cant retrieve it at all. Tried the password cracking programs but still cannot. Arghhh!
And I'm dam bored, there is nothing I can do on my comp and there is nothing else I can do. Tomorrow is my off day and I guess I would have nothing to do also. haiz.. how ahh~

Photoshop is fun! But i need to know more ways to play with it..like changing the hair colour, face, adding other pictures...haha.
Woo! Finished my first shift. also my first night shift. Quite interesting, but not as busy as I expected though. My team is a group of fun people, but well as usual, I'm newly posted and couldn't really join in their discussion. Nevermind, will improve sooner or later. They doesn't seem to be very ON also. Not my type =\ ( I'm very ON one eh! Chiong sua type =D )
And most of them got surprised that I am able to keep myself alert the whole night shift. They say most newbies will not be able to tahan. Then I told them that I can tahan night shift but maybe not morning shift. haha! I'm an owl eh =] but then I think will spoil my biological clock. Eye bags, pimples and a jiao face will be back I think. Reached home only 10+ just now and slept till 5pm for my lunch. =\
Forgot add on: I don't know is it me or is it natural for everyone, but I get stiff headed/neck when I gets nervous. And I don't know why I get nervous so easily. See my new teammates, I also got stiff. Talk to new people or strangers, also stiff. haiz..what's wrong with me huh? Like that next time how to go out work? =\ Maybe my npco posting could help me to change =D

Anyway...I feel dam loser when people post me this question, "what do you do during your free time?". This will followed by a moment of silence or a very long "errr.....errr....". I don't really know what do I do during my free time. It seems like I do not have much free time also. But if I do, I will be........hmmm~
Well, I do go out with friends when all of us are free. And hmm, there is really nothing I can say. Ask me whether I am attached, no. "Then why do you say you got no free time?". Moment of silence, then a smile =] Time just passes as I reach home and hooked on to the computer. So dam loser =\ Ask me about my hobbies? What sports i play? Silence again. I don't really have any fixed hobby, and I do not really play sports. Don't dare to say basketball or badminton all these, because I seriously sucks at it.haha. So yah, I think I really need to 'settle down' on something to do. Try fishing? Maybe, but alone? lol
So bored. Shall watch some videos and maybe go out for supper with ky and bio later.
Just came back from my work. Feeling quite tired now but I have 'homework' to do. Yes, an essay to write. So long never touch essays already, suddenly ask me write about topics that are kinda boring to me =\
Anyway, today was just more of an adminstrative day. Done all the paper work and I think tomorrow will also be the same. It is just like an 'orientation', once you get on the ground, no such thing as "new comer".
Anyway, SPF gotten themselves a Singapore Quality Award. So, they gave out free cashcards to everyone. Quite nice of them eh? And today, if you read Straits Times, there is full page of report on SPF, stating all the land divisions and some information. I took a picture of it...
And I got quite surprised when I see this 'advertisement' pasted on one of the pillars at chua chu kang. Wth, is that how they link Buddhism to studies? I don't think it is a right way to do it. Sounds like....nvm. And did Albert Einstein really said that?

Was bored and I got nothing to do on my pc, so i decided to do a virus scan. Took quite sometime and I am greeted with a few red pop up messages. Informing me that virus, or rather, trojans have been detected. After selecting to delete it, I came to this page that shows me that there are 444 items detected. Stunned me for quite awhile.
Then i realise that they are just vulnerabilties. And most of them are from Quicktime. tsk tsk tsk Apple.
I will be reporting for work tomorrow and then will know when is my first day of work. Feel kinda scared because this is the time for real work, dealing with police procedures, facing the public and solving problems on the ground. I've taken quite a long break and the time has finally come. No such thing as 'public holiday' for me anymore, think I will be quite busy after that...chiong ahhh!!
Went swimming this morning, was so tired as I do not have enough sleep, plus a 4k run yesterday evening. Tire my body out for a little and I'm now craving for banana prata to energise me! Especially the banana prata at upper thomson road, it is really fantastic. Crispy while the banana melts in between the crusts of the prata. The fried taste of the prata plus the sweetness of the banana, perfect. It is one of the better prata shop I've found.
I'm bored at home, lazy to go out. Lazy to even watch the dozens of movies I koped from my friends. I feel hungry too. And yes, I'm having my block leave now till Monday. Will be reporting to my division on Monday and I will have my schedule and npc. So for now, I am just slacking. A little wasted for today though. Shall do something more useful tomorrow.
Anyway, as you all have heard it, electrical prices will up by 22% soon. It is a huge amount. Imagine your monthly bill will be up from $200 to $250. Inflation is 5% + transport fares up by 5% + electrical bills 22% + food up up up. Everything also up, even newspapers -.- But the thing is, oil prices fell to under USD 100 recently. However, prices that raised using the reason "fuel prices went up", did not come down. The taxi's fuel surcharge is still there. Electrical bills up and they say because of the fuel prices. And the fact is 80% of their fuel comes from natural gas which is 20% the price of fuel. Plus they got it from indonesia and signed a 22year contract with a much lower agreed price. Then there was this report that SP Power had an annual 15% raise in profits. Thanks man.
And I have no idea why but ants invaded my room again. Don't remember eating in my room. Somehow, biondi's room also got invaded by ants. Maybe its 'ants season' in this area eh? haha
Ohya, there is converse warehouse sales at upper paya lebar there. Went there yesterday and spent $48 on 2 shirts and 1 shorts. Just one night and i spent so much =\ So much for wanting to save money this month. Spent over a thousand last month and I really need to re-finance myself =\
